Each day I find the new fish species are far more smarter than I ever imagined. The things they are capable of doing are amazing. Their rates of learning are rapid and incredible. Their faces have human-like expressions of character that I did not notice before. I have the group (of fish) studying in daily school, providing stimulating intellectual mind challenges from cell phone apps visible through the tank glass so they will grow with deep intellectual stimulation, expand their open minds, and grow in a very rich environment. There are three new papers I'm working on. One is about the project I started in 1955 that led to design and construction of tens of thousands of inventions leading to a new life form over six decades later. Another paper is about experiments showing the high intelligence of the new brainy Asian C fish. One is a study of the human-like characteristics and habits of this new species. They can already recognize my face, respond to commands, and are highly interested and inquisitive enthusiastic explorers regarding the outside world. The school of eleven fish are entered into our Fish Astronaut Training Program and undergoing tests, and learning new things for potential space travel. One project I'm teaching is about the concept of time. There are three bright fish students in this group and we are exploring their potential concept of time. Studies also continue with plants and the development of the speech invention interface that allows both plants and fish to talk. A symbiotic friendship and cooperation between humans and fish can merge our worlds together into better understanding and one of cooperation. I see space flight a possibility for all life forms that hold intelligence and embrace the interest to become great explorers of the far reaching frontier.
