Space1 DIY Planet City

The city has infrastructure attached to the planet's ulterior Duridium foundation
Space1 DIY Planet City
After a planet is constructed, a futuristic planet city is next for the colonists

This is a SPACE1 2020 high technology city adapted to the requirements of resident high tech citizens that are now the first off-world multiplanetary species to exist for the first time in the course of human history. The DIY planet city  includes power distribution, habitation, communications, and a means of mobility.

A number of initial colonists represent the first "off-world" habitation on another planet. Construction techniques have adapted to creating grand structures connected directly to the Duridium planetary material. The total number of colonists possible for becoming a multiplanetary species is determined by the size of the planet, the size of the colonists, and the amount of designated free space inside particular planets. Colonists, along with the planet and cities, are lofted into space via the SPACE1 Super Rocket, and the planet is released with its own spin rate to create artificial gravity of a spinning sphere. Unlike deep space probes such as Voyager 1 and 2 that took dozens of years and decades to mission completion in normal space time, the artificial planet is sped up to function in a world in compression space time, and can undergo complete evolution in terms of only a fractional comparative time.

Space1 Ocean Rocket Launch

Space1 Ocean Rocket Launch
Protecting the Environment

SPACE1 has chosen the Pacific Ocean as the ideal launching site due to its location. The linear velocity of the earth increases as you move towards the equator. Besides taking advantage of earth’s rotation, the ocean is sparsely populated, a good factor for safety rocket launching. Furthermore, in case of an anomaly, it will be easier to redirect the rockets to the ocean. For more information, consult numerous SPACE1 posts regarding their space city in the ocean, an independent country located in the South Pacific.

Space1 Rocket Space Nation Caveats

Can AI handle Space Nation emergencies?
DEEP DANGER?
Caveats of Rocket Space Nation

Creating a future country and large cities in the middle of the ocean is a piece of cake. What could possibly go wrong? Famous last words or not? SPACE1 investigates potential deep danger.

Let's start now with the investigation of potential disasters.

Killer Rogue Waves
The giant waves pack tons of weight and crushing capabilities. They come completely unannounced and can cause huge damage. Rogue waves may originate from under water earthquakes that displace massive amounts of water. A massive water wave can drop down thousands of tons of water onto a structure in the ocean and cause complete demolition.

Typhoon Weather
Typhoon weather can bring big wind and storms filled with lightning, fierce structural damaging storms causing water surges, tremendous destructive wind, and massive amounts of rain.

Failed Anchoring
Given the fierceness of ocean currents, storms, wind, waves, and aging of materials, there is a strong possibility of failed anchoring.

Free Drift
This is a nightmare for inhabitants that go away on hiatus travel and return some days later only to find nothing in the same position where the space nation once existed. It had simply free drifted away, given the strong currents of ocean water in the Pacific that can overcome the anchoring system.

Isolation
Initially out in the middle of the Pacific, there is no cell phone service, no serving satellites, no land line phones, no 911 medical emergency system, no mail, and a chartered boat trip to the closest country could be weeks in duration and the better half of a thousand miles away.

Maintenance
Salt water has significant corrosiveness with many materials and routine maintenance may include cleaning, adjusting, calibrating systems and providing lock downs as needed.

Repairs
Things may break from wearing out, damage caused by ocean water salt, rusting and corroding, fraying and breaking of land yards and tie downs, harm from strong wave action, wind action on the surface, breakage due to storms and other anomalies.

Earthquakes
The ocean bed floor is entirely susceptible to very strong damaging earthquakes that can cause killer waves, tsunami, strong forward and reverse ocean currents, turbulent waters.

Ruptured Leaks

Platform Instability
Platforms in contact with the ocean are prone to springing leaks and ruptures.

Excessive Cost
Millions and millions of dollars can add up quickly

Rocket Proximity
Being too close to the rocket may have consequences of high pressure waves, shrapnel, sonic disruption, and other ill effects.

Drowning - Man Overboard
Even if perimeter guard rails and fences are in effect, rain can cause wet slippery surfaces, and high winds can toss a person overboard never to be seen again.

Governing
How will governing a countries filled with potential anomalies be accomplished full time? Will the use of AI being become a crucial factor into problem solving?

Anomaly
Murphy's Law states that if anything can go wrong, it will. So such an island nation must be constantly vigil.

Fire
Fires are possible on boats and various floating structures.

Storms
Massive storms frequently occur in Pacific Ocean and can bring torrential downpours accompanied by typhoon level winds. These often flatten coastal cities and anything in its path.

Sinking
If the island structure is not maintained, immediately repaired, and periodically inspected, it could succumb to island sinking.

Flooding
Massive rain could produce global island flooding if the drainage system is not effective.

Excessive Rain
Excessive rain in the ocean is a concern, where the sky can drop 36-inches of rain in an hour.

Space1 Rocket Reef Anchoring

SPACE1 Rocket Reef Anchoring
In the middle of the ocean, the spectacular future design of Rocket Space City is being prepared as a rising mobile independent country platform to launch rockets unencumbered by unending political politics, enormous red tape trails, and jumping through hoops to satisfy transient local, city, state and federal governments.

Floating countries need to be stabilized so they don't float away, given the often very strong ocean currents and wind. Stabilizing the artificial space island during rocket launches is also important. Deep ocean maxes out at about the flying height of a jet airliner at 35.000 feet deep. The depth ocean averages 2.7 miles. It's not a simple matter of dropping down a weighted anchor to stay in one spot.

Humanoido has invented the stabilizing reef anchoring system, i.e. specific anchoring to underwater land mass at mapped locations along the Pacific Ocean that exist just below the surface. The reef can be a ridge of jagged rock, coral, or top base-sand just below the surface of the sea. Other references to anchoring points include a shoal, bar, sandbar, sandbank or spit.

Just like offshore oil, it is believed that many deep oceanic veins of ore exist in the shoals of the underwater earth, especially ones containing precious minerals such as gold. Small sub topical mining can be one way to supplement and finance the construction of Rocket Space City.

— Rocket Space Nation is a floating country world on the Pacific Ocean designed to efficiently launch Safety Rockets and expand the Space Frontier, becoming a multi-world species. —

The self island design is rich in high tech science and calls for migrating an increasing number of high tech colonists and AI Augments to populate the deep oceanic Space Country.

Space1 Big Earthquake Shakes Space City

Giant Earthquake Rock & Rolls
Space City!
A giant earthquake violently shook the SPACE1 Complex today, on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at 1:06 pm local time.

According to SPACE1 Meteorologist, the event was measured remotely at 6.2 and locally at 7, and apparently it was constructively and harmonically wave propagated onto the volcanic-built space island in the Pacific Ocean.

No ensuing tsunamis were visible, however, water was expelled from all three tropical fish tanks at the headquarters of the United Federation of Spacefaring Species UFSS, where the Aquatics Space Center and Aquamarine Space Center are training fish denizens for spaceflight. There were no casualties.

Although a lot of steel was shaking and making loud rattling noise, Space Rockets did not bend or topple. The Rocket X fleet is firmly stowed awaiting space flight reemergence. The current EM Electrodynamic fleet is wide mount beset on current active anti-harmonic vibration machines that kept the rockets from moving relative to the space launch center and mission control.

Singularity Observatory reports all telescopes survived, though the Observatory Director, Humanoido, made a statement about the calibration of optics may be necessary after enduring the violent shaking and vibrations.

Space1 City in the Sky

City in the sky rises until it reaches Earth orbit
Space1 City in the Sky development, a new kind of real estate in the sky
The blueprint shows numerous propulsion engines to support indefinite suspension
Space1 is proposing vast cities in the sky
Sky Real Estate Development

Today we have military drones capable of days long flight and supporting an array of equipment and weapons. In the future, a floating city in the sky could be kept afloat by other power generation. Space1 is proposing a step by step city. When the space on Earth runs out of room for skycrapers built up to the limit height, a new form of structure will be needed. Cities in the sky are the next logical approach to sky real estate development.

Space1 Dome City

Centaur Domed Station, USS Cygnus Command Tower Concept Art by Robert T McCall
Bigelow Aerospace B330 in 2017
Space1 is examining various designs for domed cities for future habitation in the colonization of space and planets.

A domed city is a rapidly developing concept for Space1 in 2017. Domed cities could be deployed throughout the solar system by the year 2500. For example, even now, new private space industry startups such as Bigelow Aerospace are already developing space habitats made of flexible and inflatable material. It's just a matter of using transparent material on spherical shaped versions to extend the concepts of these early habitats. Another concept uses a spherical structure with replaceable window inserts as seen in the illustration.
