Humanoido has invented the Filamentary Drone, designed to take reliable high flight, perform specified special maneuvers and have absolute positive assurance of a return to station keeping.
How is this possible with offshore winds, trade-winds, gusts of wind, errant breezes, unexpected movements of air flow, down and up drafts, weather anomalies, and purely the unexpected?
Meet the new Filamentary Drone, attached to the home station keeping by a fine high tech filament, the drone can extend 300 to 600 feet maximum distance and always return via the retrieval filament. The filament is more of a safety feature and assures the drone will not become lost. The weight of the high tech filament is negligible to effect flight. Prop guards are mandatory for proper filament execution.
In the case of Rocket X, the attached drone and filament can be deployed during recovery and retrieval.
