Space1 Smallest Rocket Cam in the World

Space1 Lab unveils the world's smallest rocket cam today. Named Rocket CAM, the prized part is smaller than the size of a postage stamp, smaller than a thumb nail, and only a few millimeters on each side.

The high resolution cam is constructed for multi-functionality during rocket flight. Modular functions make it programmable for a number conditions. Added supporting parts creates more functions such as a down-link telemetry based package to send data from the rocket, to include space bound images with motion video, to a rocket ground base. The raw camera includes an electronic driver board which has a standard compatible interface and handles multiple dimensions of wave-forms. It draws energy off high power Lithium Ion cells for activity throughout the entire rocket flight, ideal for space tourism missions.

Space1 Rocket Micro Base Station Cat's Pajamas

Humanoido at the Space1 Rocket Laboratory has invented the Cat's Pajamas, a Rocket Electric Micro Base Station. The Cat's Pajamas is cute, lightweight, tiny and small, and it puts massive rocket functions into a pocket or the palm of your hand.

For the first time, it opens up space travel to a wider sect. Primary functions of a large full scale rocket base station are now built into the powerful but minuscule Cat's Pajamas. The Cat's Pajamas station can be pocket carried to space ports and minimizes the weight and physical size of the overall rocket Earth space center. The Cat's Pajamas handles space power distribution, audio and video rocket space flight telemetry, with complete rocket space flight tourism recording for production and analysis. It converts into FPV for onboard rocket space experiments.

The Cat's Pajamas has other functions such as USB, remote control, a micro space monitor screen, charging, support for solid state drives, i.e. 32Gb Class 10 SD cards, lithium ion technology, and low power consumption as low as 200mA for in-field use. It uses a standard NTSC format with 720 x 480 @30FPS. It can also voice overlay imprint for RT data analysis and can capture and track future rocket missions lasting over 2 hours.

Space1 Listening to Rockets

SPACE RADIO
You can listen in to Space1 rockets by constructing your own DIY equipment. Space1 rockets vary their frequency on a regular basis based on particular missions, tests, and space rocket launches. Currently we are conducting rocket telemetry tests with new systems in the HF radio spectrum.

Interests
For example, future telemetry of interest may be in the form of camera motion pictures and images showing tests, the interior or exterior of rockets, the receding Earth during rocket launches, and the environments during reentry and recovery.

How To DIY
To find the right frequency, use of an auto scanning frequency receiver will lock onto the signal. A large directional gain rotation antenna will tune in the carrier band much better. Output can be your choice of PAL or NTSC to a video monitor to show real time events. We often use sound as a component of the transmission. You might hear the roar of a rocket engine during a test. As events unfold, a capture board can save the data.
