This is the most massive transport ship that will ferry passengers to and from Mars and send up machinery and supplies to create a multiplanetary species and a vast new civilization. It will become a backup planet for the Earth. The rocket has two stages - the upper is Starship and the lower is Super Heavy. Elon Musk held two rounds of hiring sessions to gain more workers and work around the clock on shifts to create the starship as fast as possible.
