Space1 is creating the Space Ark, a large-capacity storage medium for
archived data and information that will be provided by the crew of the USS Pioneer. Space1 will
space harden drive card media for storage of 30 billion characters at one time, then launch it into space for the mission duration, and retrieve it as a dedicated shrine remembrance of the first flight. The media weighs only .5 grams and has dimensions of 15x11mm. The space ark is capable of archiving stories, letters, text, photos, and video.
