Space1 continues with several parallel development concepts of human space augmentation, to modify the genetics of a human in the short term for space travel in the long term. This view shows the potentials of the latest incarnation. The conceptual
illustration demonstrates several new technologies in the making. The augmentation includes space hardening, adaptation to a space environment, space command control, special sensors, and augmentations to hearing, sight and other amplified human perceptions. Augmentation is more readily adapted to a space environment with radiation, intense levels of hot and cold, extreme G-forces, sonic vibrations, weightlessness, and other rigors.
