Space1 Fish Tragedy

Fish Tragedy at the School!
On Friday November 17th 2018 tragedy struck at the civilian school where three fish students died. The school will be closed for several days of grace period observing the deaths of the students.

The containment school fish tank was .9 gallon, well maintained, and part of the containment study. An investigation was launched in the deaths of all three students and body autopsies were performed at the clinic. Funerals were held in traditional fish settings. Photos cannot be released as the next of kin are not contacted. A contributory fund is being established for the surviving families.

According to the investigation, new LED lights were being used for school sessions. Suddenly in the course of one day, a resultant brown algae fungus permeated the environment covering the plants, tank walls, thermometer and possibly the fish. Water appeared dull and dusty with contaminates, even though the water was appropriately changed on schedule.

Next, horrifying unidentified white transparent body devil worms rose out of the soil pellets - a variety unappealing to the fish, then three of the best students died. Small Agatha Christie was the first to go, her lifeless pale body being swept away by currents into the sheathing on the filter intake, followed by Christina Aguilera who was found lifelessly floating in the plant leaves. Mr. Carlyle's body was the largest and the most recent to die according to the fish coroner, and remained floating lifelessly in the corner of the tank. All bodies were retrieved by paramedics using nets and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Fish autopsies were not conclusive but best guess according to the aquatics coroner, in the order of probability, is death by water contamination due to A) algae contamination, B) fungus, C) Devil worms, D) water imbalance. As dwarf Puffers like to sleep on the ground at night, it's possible they were attacked by tiny Devil Worms. New LED lighting was likely too intensive permitting algae to grow uncontrolled. Also blamed is the small filter with limited aeration using sponge and no charcoal.

The investigative court is recommending immediately doubling the size of the aquarium, introducing baby snails, eliminating all worms, improving the filter, and reducing all LED lighting. The small tank will be sterilized, reestablished for raising snails. A fungus cleaning regime will be introduced with routine inspections for algae growth. In the long term, the court recommends a fish tank twenty times larger that the original for greater stability.

Space1 Research & Investigation


Space1 conducts a significant amount of time on scientific research and investigation which involves the collection of data using tools and resources to further analyze significant elements of space tourism. 

While the passage of time and the reporting of milestones may seem significant too, there is a behind the scenes beehive of space activity.

For every new rocket design, there is a pattern that's followed to assure proper functioning and performance, as well as complying to set safety standards. In the case of the USS Pioneer rocket, Space1 is outlining the testing procedures necessary to hone and create smooth flights for tourists.

Data collection is a repeating process. For example, how does the USS Pioneer rocket perform at specific load mass of fuel, pressurization, and fuel mix, versus altitude, acceleration, thrust, velocity, gforce, and other details. This process is repeated in real life rather than use only theoretical simulations.

Like the carburetor on a car, the fuel to O2 mix requires fine tuning and this is accomplished by the complete understanding of results. Space1 measures the fuel mix vs mass vs pressurization vs rocket performance parameters with many repeated test flights. By the time humans partake in rocket launches and space tourism, the performance of the rocket is well known and charted.

Data collection is through measurements taken by Minute Men and that which is recorded by onboard flight computers. Data is both quantitatively and qualitatively collected and analyzed. Approving a new rocket fleet design does not happen overnight. Once the data is fully collected from a number of unmanned flights, the analysis can produce plotting and charting with interpolation and extrapolation to gain other data points to know rocket performance. Analysis may also include the performance of supporting devices such a parachutes and deployment mechanisms.
