Space1 has invented the first Lossless Air Dock
The new LAD is the most efficient design for space use. It allows astronauts to transfer from the Rocket Space Station to the Delta Wing Flyer without any loss of air or oxygen. This is accomplished by a direct connection from both vehicles and a special hatch mechanism. Once the human transfer is made, the hatch mechanism is closed and the connection is released. Air and pressure is maintained in both the Rocket Space Station and the Delta Wing Flyer at all times. No air or oxygen is wasted or lost. To dock with the station, the connection is made again and the hatch is opened. For additional safety at all times, the hatch can remain sealed.

Space1 Humanoido Directive
from the office of Humanoido - Founder, Owner and CEO of Space1 Wednesday March 1, 2017
SPACE DIRECTIVE
Effective immediately, I have commissioned Space1 for the construction of a great rocket, one that is multi-purposed,
looking at a mission with astronauts, humanoids, space station, and delta winged space planes all rolled into one.
The new Space1 directive has the formula for a great new rocket mission in space using our space ready astronauts, humanoids, safety rocket, twin space planes (for return missions, touring, inspections, etc.), and the newly invented space station.
We are particularly interested in the development of the new rocket that will accommodate our new astronauts. This is the first rocket that will be used for promo, photography, and articles about our quest. The vid could be extremely dramatic with our suited AI humanoids walking along the gantry and entering into the rocket capsule for the first mission.
I have already completed a very large six-engines craft in 2014-2015 to hover above the launch site and shoot the rocket as it's launched and passes by in space. I think the views will be spectacular for assembling a space movie and commentary. It should gain many more followers, and new interest in an instant for members and the new financiers.

Space1 Humanoid Lineup
GET READY FOR THE HUMANOID INVASION
Space1 is now examining the lineup of the first five humanoids in the Humanoid & Rocket Labs for prospective astronaut status in regard to future spaceflight missions.
These humanoids vary in weight, size and capabilities as well as power consumption. No different than humans, they widely vary in culture and their points of manufacturing origins. JD originated from Canada, Robonova from Korea, iSobot from Japan, and Penguin and TH1 are from the USA. Programming, support, parts, and service is provided by HRL - Humanoid Robotics Laboratory, Space1 and the Humanoid & Rocket Lab.
In particular, JD is noted for features of advanced vision, tracking, telemetry, speech and transforming. It can remember what it sees and record missions. Hands are dexterous enough to play the piano, and thus can handle some rocket instruments. JD is the only humanoid that has a wireless link to a powerful big brain which is external to the robot. The Big Brain for JD is Terran and range specific. Robonova 1 is the heaviest, made from metal brackets, has enough DOF to adapt to various positions in the spacecraft, is equipped with strong muscle to construct spacecraft, stations in space, and do maintenance during missions. Robonova can speak a robot language using tones. iSobot has the command of English language, is the second smallest in size, the second lightest being made from poly components, and has extensive pre-programming commands with documented capability to do telescope repair and maintenance in space. It's very dexterous body and hands are good for instrumentation, for example, sitting in the cockpit and piloting the delta wing space flyer.
Penguin humanoid can speak Penguinese and do tone signalling, is absolutely the smallest humanoid and has 2 DOF for physical control if needed, in the form of small NARO servos. It has arrays of sensors such as compass, light detectors, and infrared devices. Some are dual which enable depth perception. It can log sensor data. TH1 Humanoid has large physical form - a 16-inch reach and is multi purposed, can see in various directions with sonar in total darkness, and is the largest humanoid in the lineup. It can speak tone-based and visual sign languages.

Space1 Delta Wing Flyer
Concept dual delta wing flyers |
Space1 has two rocket mounted small space shuttles in the fleet hangar that can go into space by means of the Safety Rocket and return under their own glide ability and land safely on Terra. The test rocket planes have proven reliable and useful in every test, their valuable service contributing greatly to the mission.
New Space Flyer
Plans to build a delta wing flyer model |
Delta Wing model |
Introducing the Delta Wing Flyer
The new name is Delta Wing Flyer. The Delta wing shape is more ideal for the purpose of adding twin fins function to the rocket for primary stability. For safety design reasons, the fliers are not powered by dangerous black powder or liquid fueled engines.
Transformer Space Functions
When in space, the delta fin function is no longer needed, the rocket becomes a space station, and the twin Delta Wing Flyers detach for taking astronauts back to Terra. The flyers can also become part of the space tourist package, and can be used for inspection trips around the space station and to see objects in space. The crafts can assist in station repairs with supplies, materials and tools.
Another style model |
The craft does have a powered engine. When in space, the Delta Wing Flyer can detach from the rocket and fly around with a compressed air powered engine and retro orientation nozzles distributed around the craft. The air engine can also serve as a backup in the event that more air is required for astronauts when in space.
Transporting Supplies
The twin flyers hold food, water, air, and supplies when initially transporting to space. Once in space, the supplies are transferred to the rocket space station as needed until the return flight or space tour.
Delta Wing Flyer design with two cabin windows |
Docked Delta Wing Flyers have an airlock for transfer to and from the rocket space station without any air loss. Lossless air design is a special lock to ensure the full use of all air available in space and to see that nothing is wasted. To accomplish this, the flyer is kept pressurized with air before, during and after transfers.
Fin Design
The delta wings, in the way the mounting is designed, are equivalent to four rocket fins. This design provides maximum rocket stability during rocket flight preventing or minimizing rocket rotation.
Element of Safety
As an added element of safety, the Delta Wing Flyer can serve as a backup limited short term space station in the event of the primary space station taking a large particle hit or other occurring anomaly.

Space1 Space Humanoids
EXPANSION
Reaching for the Stars
In the first quarter of 2017, Space1 has expanded its Space Humanoid Robotics Division to include a new state of the art JD humanoid robot.
Assembled and programmed by Humanoido, the robot has resources to walk across the rocket gantry, enter the rocket, control rocket instrumentation with hands and eyes, and watch views of space outside the capsule window during the space mission.
The humanoid has built in telemetry and can transmit wireless to a big brain. The humanoid also has the potential for command and control using a mobile app with iPad or iPhone. It can see views in real time with an eye camera and transmit motion video as well as track and record internal temperatures and power levels. JD's main feature is its camera vision which can track colors, objects and faces. JD is capable of making astronomical observation and recording the results. It could data log during a space mission. Using parts from JD humanoid, many other combination space humanoids can be constructed, such as a lighter weight JD Jr to facilitate a lighter rocket payload and physical capsule size restrictions. Other versions can reduce power consumption during space flight and serve specific mission requirements.
Space Humanoids are ideal for space missions and can work along side human astronauts. Humanoids are more adapted to hibernation during long space missions and don't require the same oxygen, air, and pressure levels as humans. Space Humanoids could remain on the Space Station or the Shuttle without oxygen demands. The Space1 Space Station will need personnel on board to maintain the facility, continue conducting research and observations, and Space Humanoids are ideal for the task.

Space1 Space Station Developments
The space station is pre-built inside the rocket before launch |
Rocket contained space station |
Space1 Space Station Development
February 23, 2017
breaking news
space1 bulletin
Space Station control & communications |
Space Station Design
It's the most efficient space station to date. The entire station is pre-built and laid out as multiple levels inside and along the vertical length of the safety rocket, the part which is the nose cone and not devoted to fuel. The actual depiction is
top secret and not shown here, al- though we can show the illu- stration of a proposed Convair Atlas Space Station from the 1960s which was never built. Space1 takes this design and modifies it into a new design to make it workable.
Modified Rocket
The modified rocket loses the ability to parachute back to the Earth but gains many new functions, in particular two delta wing flyers that assist astronauts in the return to Terra.
Station Deployment & Layout
The station is pre-deployed before launch, active and self contained within the rocket. When space is achieved, the rocket station is parked. The efficient design sees solar energy and communications facilities built in as part of the rocket. The station contains two delta wing space flyers which return astronauts to the Earth. Each is a part of the rocket and has station access, and is packed initially with fuel, air, supplies and food. Replacement flyers become available with each new flight to the station.
Fliers & Engines
The space station flyers can also assist the tourist experience. Slow safe air rockets navigate the craft for tours of the outside station and breathtaking views in LEO. An airlock passage is available for astronauts to transfer to flyers without loss of air. Flyers are an extension of the station, small and do not need a heat shield due to the slow speed of reentry and extended time of Earth return. More detail will be released at a future date.
