Space1 is obsoleting old space technology such as this ultra expensive iron colossus scale rocket transporter. Such devices were made for the obsolete Energia-Buran stack. By making rockets, launchers, fuel tanks and components light weight and portable, and designing parts in pieces for assembly at the site, such large and heavy transporters are not necessary. Also the old method of keeping rockets stored at the launch pad complex is obsolete.
